JCBL Launched a Dental Clinic on Wheels in Ladakh

JCBL recently announced the launch of a dental clinic on wheels to provide dental healthcare services to remote areas in Ladakh. This initiative is a part of Project Smile Himalaya led by Rotary International (Germany and Bangalore), Swami Vivekananda Sewa Trust (Karnataka), and Vision Himalaya (Ladakh). These organizations aim to offer improved dental care to the remote villages in Ladakh, where healthcare accessibility is challenging. This mobile dental clinic features a foldable dental chair, a base tool for medical staff, wall-mounted fixtures, a first-aid kit, a document box, a toolbox, a foldable ladder, and an ambulance siren, which ensures convenient access and functionality in tough scenarios. A mobile dental clinic can stay for 3-4 days in one place for isolated communities.
