The National Institute of Oral and Craniofacial Research awarded the ADA Forsyth Institute a $6.2 million grant to develop next-generation smart materials for dental fillings with the integration of artificial intelligence. The implementation of artificial intelligence for oral health research improves the development and testing process. This new grant will create materials for filling by replacing the amalgam.
