Dentulu Launches Nationwide Sleep Apnea Program

Dentulu is the leading teledentistry platform recently announced to provide services related to sleep apnea screening, diagnosis, and treatment at millions of homes. Dental Digital X-Ray Market Size

According to Precedence Research’s Report, the global dental digital X-ray market size was USD 4.58 billion in 2023 and is predicted to grow around USD 14.40 billion by 2034, with a remarkable growth to USD 5.09 billion in 2024 expanding at a CAGR of 11% from 2024 to 2034.

The American Dental Association joined with more than 80 healthcare organizations to promote an initiative named ‘Image Gently’ for the radiographic examination of children in medicine and dentistry. The ADA also motivates patients and dentists to discuss the need for X-rays to make informed decisions. A new guidance by the ADA was recently released which focuses on the safety and regulatory aspects of radiography for dental radiography examination.

According to the Institute of Digital Dentistry report in February 2024, intraoral scanners are increasingly adopted by dentists and clinical laboratories and they will keep growing. The percentage of adoption rates of intraoral scanners is over 50% in the USA, Nordics, and Australia. About 33% of adoption is observed by the laboratories of the states starting with intraoral scans. Envista Holdings Corporation, Planmeca Oy, Acteon Group, and Air Techniques Inc. are some of the major players in the dental digital X-ray market.

In the U.S., the dental digital X-ray market size is calculated at USD 1.19 billion in 2023 and is expected to hit around USD 3.82 billion by 2034, with a remarkable growth to USD 1.32 billion in 2024 estimated to grow at a CAGR of 11.19% from 2024 to 2034.

According to the report published by Invest India in June 2024, India is the fourth biggest market for medical devices in Asia among the top 20 markets globally. In India, the current market size of the medical devices industry is $11 billion. The domestic medical device manufacturers in India are about 750-800 and they account for 65% of the entire market. Besides this, there are more than 250 organizations that are making efforts in innovations to address important health issues.
