CAD-CAM Dental Milling Machine Market Progressiveness

Share

According to a news report published in New York, dental CAD-CAM machines are improving dental prosthetics, restoration, design, and production. The dental milling machines incorporate computer-aided drug design (CAD) and computer-aided drug manufacturing (CAM) technologies. The CAD-CAM systems enable the creation of dental components like crowns, implant restorations, and bridges, directly from digital models. This automation helps to save time and adds value to the clinical performance in dental laboratories and clinics.

‘’According to Precedence Research’s Report, the global dental CAD/CAM market size was USD 2.54 billion in 2023 and is predicted to grow around USD 6.87 billion by 2033, with a remarkable growth to USD 2.81 billion in 2024 expanding at a CAGR of 10.46% from 2024 to 2033.’’

The Dental Technology Innovation Hub is the leading center for the design and development of dental technologies. The center is sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology under its Bio-Medical Device and Technology Development Program. This innovation hub aims at developing facilities for clinical simulation such as CAD-CAM and 3D printing laboratories, thermocycler, 3D laser scanning systems, etc. The increasing consumption of unhealthy foods and drinks causes toothache problems resulting in the raised demand for digital dentistry solutions like dental CAD-CAM systems.

In the United States, about 92% of adults and 96% of parents considered the importance of oral health. About 4 in 5 adults regularly visit dental or oral care centers. Dental Wings Inc., Roland DAG, and 3M Company are some of the leading companies in the dental CAD-CAM market. The software development and the use of hardware like intraoral scanners are increasingly adopted in the North American and Asia Pacific regions which are driving the growth of the dental CAD-CAM market.
